I’m really impressed with this knife set! The safety features are excellent, and my child has been using them without any issues. They’re sharp enough for effective cutting. It’s a wonderful way to introduce cooking skills to kids while ensuring their safety. I would definitely recommend it!
My child loves the Young Chef Starter Set! The knives are sharp yet safe, which gives me peace of mind while they practice their cooking skills. They handle fruits and soft vegetables really well, but I wish they could cut through harder foods a bit more easily. Overall, it’s a fantastic starter set that encourages kids to get involved in the kitchen.
I really wanted to love the Young Chef Starter Set because of the safety aspect, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for us. While the knives are sharp and safe for the skin, they struggled with even simple tasks like cutting carrots. My 3 years old son got frustrated quickly because it took so much effort to get through harder foods. It seems more suited for 5 year olds, which limits its use in the kitchen. I’m disappointed with how impractical it turned out to be.
I’m really happy with how sharp yet safe these knives are for my child. They work wonderfully for most fruits and soft vegetables, but harder foods require a bit more effort. Overall, it's a great product for beginners.
These knives are sharp, and I appreciate that they’re safe for the skin. They work really well with softer foods like cucumbers and potatoes , but my child had a bit of trouble cutting harder veggies like carrots. Overall, it’s a good set, but maybe not ideal for everything.
